Ultrafiltration (UF) of hollow fiber is a high-tech regarding membrane separation. Ultrafiltration is a process of liquor separation with pressure differential between the two sides of membrane as motivation and mechanical classification theory as basis. The diameter of holes in ultrafiltration membrane is between 3nm to 100nm, which could intercept substance with 1000~500000 da1ton molecular weight. It could intercept substance such as sugar molecular, biological molecular, polymer, and colloid and so on. Diameter of pores is described by the label in ultrafiltration membrane named “MWCO”. The general definition refers to the smallest molecular, 90% of which is intercepted by membrane. Water disposal uses 10000~20000 da1ton MWCO while heat prevention uses 6000 da1ton MWCO.
