The activated carbon used in the treatment of sewage is to adsorb heavy metals, oil, organic contaminations and so on in the water, mainly used in reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, ion exchange, pre-treatment of softening water, treatment of purified water, treatment of municipal centralized water supply, and treatment of recycled grey water.
