In general, the materials filled in the multi-media filter are arenaceous quartz, granular activated carbon, anthracite, KDF, granular porous ceramic, etc. which may be chosen according to the actual requirements. The suspended materials, organic substance, colloidal particulates, microorganisms and oxonium ions in the water flow are intercepted and removed by the materials filled in the filter, and the filtered water are mainly used as domestic water, industrial water supply and recycled grey water.
The activated alumina, which is a filter material of defluorination, is filled in the filter to remove the fluorine from the water. The sponge iron is also filled in the filter to remove the oxygen from the water.
