Nations Commission on Sustainable Development, among which that of 9 districts is lower than the severe water shortage level of 500 cubic meters. Except for the water resource shortage, overall level of industrial water effectiveness in China is very low. In 2001, water consumption per RMB 10,000 industrial outputs was around 90 cubic meters, about 3-7 times of that in developed countries. The repeating utilization factor of industrial water was about 52%, far lower than 80% of that in developed countries. Industrial water is mainly used for 6 industries, namely thermal power generation, iron and steel, petroleum, petrifaction, weaving and papermaking.
Most enterprises use running water in case that the manufacturing technique does not have very high requirements on the industrial water quality. There are great differences in running water quality and price in different regions in China. In particular, water resource shortage nowadays has resulted in increasing price of running water rapidly that production cost of many large water consumers has been increased constantly, which is conflicting with the objectives of reducing costs and improving profit.
The river water purifiers developed by our company are applicable for purification treatment of surface water with turbidity not more than 3000mg/L, such as river water and lake water, and even waste water with slight pollution. Water after purification can serve as domestic water and production water supply, replacing the running water and ground water.
I. Characteristics of water purifier
(1) Traditional water purification techniques like coagulation, sedimentation and filtration are combined within the one equipment, characterized in little land occupation and convenient installation.
(2) Automatic operation: except for the managements on water pump and pharmaceutical adding system, the equipment runs automatically from water feeding, coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, water discharging, backflushing and pollution discharge, no need for manual operation.
(3) Strong adaptability, stable and reliable purified water quality and sufficient water amount. Raw water with turbidity up to 3000mg/L can be purified to reach turbidity of below 3mg/L, conforming to the turbidity standard of running water.
(4) Low water processing cost: only RMB 0.19 is needed to purify 1m3 water (take 100T/H for example), over RMB 1 lower than the cost for running water and deep well water.
