Clean Water Treatment Equipment for Swimming Pool

With the improvement of people’s living standards, swimming pool (natatoria) has become important and popular places for entertainment, leisure and physical training. China has issued Hygienic Standard for Swimming Place.

1. Technology of water purification for swimming pool

Water in swimming pool contacts human body directly. It will become an infection origin of diseases after it is polluted by swimmers’ bodies and excrement, such as infectious conjunctivitis, diarrhea and skin diseases, etc. Water in swimming pool is generally used in closed circulation. So water treatment equipment during circulation process shall ensure a sanitary, safe and comfortable water environment for swimmers. Meanwhile, targets of water saving, energy saving and pollution prevention shall be achieved in water for swimming pool through circulating water treatment.

Water quality standard for man-made swimming pool as following:

Hair and fiber sundries in swimming pool are retained by hair collector. If they are not removed, these sundries will wind on the blades of circulating pump, which will increase the operation load of the pump and even the pump motor will be burnt down. Water will enter into the filter after compression by the pump to remove the suspended solids and colloid in water and purify itself.

Then it enters into heat exchanger to heat it up to maintain the temperature of water in the swimming pool. Finally it will be injected to the pool after sterilization, completing circulation and recycling process of water in swimming pool.

The purposes of coagulant addition are to disengage stability of colloid substances in water and form alumen ustum for filtration. Meanwhile, this set of device can also be utilized to add algaecide algicide intermittently to remove green alga and increase blue color of water. Addition of disinfector is to kill bacteria in water.

Mounting of balanced reservoir is for routine water supplementation.

Arrangements of primary water filling, circulating water, routine water supplementation, emptying and overflow form the whole system of circulating water treatment in swimming pool.

Swimming pool technology:

Water treatment equipment in swimming pool is made up of pharmaceutical adding device, hair filter, booster pump, filter, sterilization device and PH adjusting device. They can ensure stable water quality for long, purified water turbidity lower than 5NTU, PH 6.8~7.5, filtration speed <40m/H, residual chlorine 0.3~0.5mg/L, with little land occupation, simple and convenient installation and operation.
